Art of Reclaiming Focus

Art of Reclaiming Focus invites you to pause, be present, and reclaim a moment for yourself.

Nowadays, everything is fighting for our attention—social media, calendar invites, family duties— and the ability to focus on a single thing feel like a luxury.

Through an interplay of colour and form, artist June Mineyama-Smithson (MAMIMU), in collaboration with Cult Vision, explores the power of intention in a form of paintings, inviting you to see not just with your eyes, but with clarity.

Art Beyond Galleries: How a business can collaborate with an artists

Art doesn't have to live in galleries. As part of The Art of Reclaiming Focus, I partnered with Cult Vision, an independent optician and design-led eyewear boutique in London, to bring art into an unexpected, everyday space.

This collaboration reinforced Cult Vision’s curated, contemporary approach. For their regular customers, urban, design-conscious individuals, the installation feels like a reflection of their own taste. For passersby and potential customers, the colourful artwork sparks instant curiosity while adding value to their lives by inviting them to pause and reclaim a sense of focus through colour, playfulness, and intention.

The project reflects my belief that art should be lived with—not just looked at. Whether in a shop, on the street, or in a home, art has the power to restore clarity, spark joy, and offer a moment of optimism in the middle of a busy day.
